The MDP Foundation was initiated as a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of MDP BElife LLC, a global training and development organization. In his travels around the world, our Founder, identified problems common to all countries, requiring innovative solutions: diseases plaguing poor areas, vices, violence, laziness, lack of purpose, untapped human talent, poverty consciousness, and absence of care for the planet and the environment.
While supporting non-profit work, MDP BElife LLC received interest from private donors to participate in its initiatives. As it could not accept charitable contributions, the MDPF was founded in 2010, obtaining its 501(c)(3) status in 2011.
MDPF was preceded by the World Institute for Incurable Diseases (WIID) which operated as a non-profit between 2006 and 2009, with holistic health and wellness projects in USA, South Africa, Mozambique, Congo and Brazil. WIID was dedicated to improving the quality of life of low-income people suffering from so-called incurable diseases such a HIV/AIDS and sickle cell anemia. As Del Pe wanted to broaden the scope of services to tackling the social issues and causes described above, the MDPF was formed.
